How To Beat Any Video Game

Yes, it is true.  All those games have very similar patterns you can master.  Let's get right into it.

The first thing you need to know is the objective.  It could be finish the race, beat the level, or pop all of the balloons.  Hopefully, you know what you are trying to do.  Then, you need to set small goals to accomplish the objective.  These goals can be as big or small as you want.  Pass a car, jump over a wall, and kill an enemy whatever.  The idea is to set and accomplish these goals as quickly as you can.  You accomplish and reset them throughout the whole game until you have reached the objective.  Let's take a racing game for example:
Your objective is to take first in the race after three laps.

Your first goal might be pass a car, then maybe pass a turn, pass another car, avoid the spikes.  It is all pretty basic stuff that leads to the winning.

The second thing you need to know is the controls.  Learn and use all of the controls possible.  They make maneuvering and strategies a lot easier.  Then, learn the situations these controls are used and create solutions to the goals.  It really is that easy.  Let's take an adventure game for example:
Your controlls might be to jump and attack (pretty simple, but just an example)

You need to learn how to maybe double jump, or double attack, jump-attack.

If you master these two elements you shouldn't have any troubles beating the game.
